The swivel sorting unit is designed for applications where cut parts exceed 650 mm in length.
After cutting, parts are discharged onto a slat conveyor that transfers the material to the sorting unit. The swivel mechanism, with its oscillating movement, separates the material into two opposite directions: finished parts with the required length are directed to one side, while longer remnants are discharged to the opposite side for separate handling.
The system length can be adapted to installation requirements, with standard configurations of 1,500 mm, 2,000 mm and 3,000 mm. This solution is typically combined with a two-position multi-switch unit, which ensures the correct separation of trim cuts and short parts before reaching the swivel unit.
