With the Bendamatic bending robot BM-100, Amada ushered in a new era in forming technology. A system was developed that simply does everything automatically – from the material supply to the complete bending technology to the stacking of the finished parts.
The production cell – consisting of an FBD press brake, BM-100 bending robot, loading and unloading unit – opened up completely new perspectives in the small and medium-sized series sector. The simultaneous movement of 5 axes allowed the sheet metal blanks to be handled as if by human hands.
