The chain magazine is an automated loading system designed to feed round and square bars to a bandsaw. Two versions are available: one for round bars and one for both round and square materials.
The system features multiple loading positions separated by vertical rollers, allowing organized storage and controlled handling of several bars. Bars are transferred automatically in sequence, following the loading order, to a powered roller conveyor that positions each bar accurately at the feed vise for clamping and cutting.
An optional remnant unloading section allows partially cut bars to be automatically returned from the cutting area for removal by the operator or reintroduction into the production cycle. Depending on configuration, this can be a simple chute for round bars or a chain conveyor suitable for both round and square materials, enabling efficient remnant management.
