Optimise your machines performance with AMADA's Sheetworks Software

3D parametric solid modelling streamlines the design of parts and optimises the production process.

Thanks to specific tools, users can design an assembly, convert it to sheet metal and automatically process development. This application makes it possible to display AMADA bending punches and dies during the design phase, to avoid, or correct, any collision before manufacturing the part using the machine.

During the design phase, predefined libraries can be used to add forming and semi-shearing. This processing is saved in an AMADA database to be automatically managed by the CAM process.

BROCHURE

SPECIFIC 3D SOLID MODELLING

SheetWorks lets you save components, assemblies and tubes, including bending attributes, in an AMADA database. This feature lets you associate the same type of material during all subsequent technological phases.

MODULE FOR AUTOMATICALLY DEVELOPING A 3D PARTS LIST

SheetWorks integrates the “Unfold Operator” function, developed by AMADA, to import one or more 3D models and automatically processes the development and saves it in an AMADA database.

CREATING A 3D MODEL FROM AN EXCEL PARAMETER FILE

By using the “Parametric Build” function, SheetWorks lets users automatically create a component/assembly, using a suitable Excel parameter file.

PART FEASIBILITY CONTROLLED BY THE 3D SOLID MODEL

SheetWorks has a number of specific commands to design and process sheet metal. For example, it is possible to analyse the minimum dimensions of flanges on the drawing, or check holes near bend lines, to prevent deformation during processing.
