LCG-AJ utmost efficiency with high beam quality

Thanks to the use of a carriage with low centre of gravity and latest-generation drive system, plus the fibre engine developed by AMADA, the LCG-AJ is a leader in terms of price/performance for the fibre laser cutting sector. The 3 kW AMADA engine, comprising a single module and no combiner, guarantees the utmost efficiency with very high beam quality.

CUTTING QUALITY

The LCG-AJ combines a high level of productivity and output speed with the capacity to process unusual and highly reflective materials with ease. The AMADA fibre laser engine provides very stable processing, allowing the machine to deliver outstanding levels of quality.

PRODUCTIVITY

The fibre laser has a shorter wave length compared to CO₂ lasers which can be more easily absorbed by the raw materials to be processed. This results in very high cutting speeds, especially in thinner materials, providing higher productivity and profitability.

ENERGY SAVING

AMADA’s fibre laser has an energy efficiency 3 times greater than a CO₂ laser. Combined with higher production speeds and up to 70% less electrical usage, much lower cost-per-part is achievable.

AIR CUTTING

The LCG-AJ has a standard system for cutting thin-to-medium thickness sheet metal using compressed air. This feature makes it possible to keep the same speeds and quality as nitrogen cutting, reducing production costs.

AUTOMATIC NOZZLE CHANGER

To ensure continuous, automatic operation, the LCG-AJ has an 8-station nozzle change system which includes a head calibration and nozzle cleaning unit.

OIL SHOT

Oil Shot is a standard feature used to greatly improve the piercing result of mid-thick mild steel. A small amount of oil is sprayed onto the pierce point, to prevent any spatter build-up during the piercing process.

AMADA FIBRE LASER ENGINE:

AMADA was the first laser machine manufacturer worldwide to develop its own fibre laser engine in-house, specifically designed for cutting. Beam density and cutting quality have been improved and maintenance costs drastically reduced.

USER FRIENDLY:

The AMNC 3i latest-generation numerical control allows for simple, intuitive operation of the machine.

SIDE DOOR:

The LCG-AJ has been fitted with large front and side opening doors, for more convenient and flexible access to the cutting area.
