VENTIS-AJ fibre laser - High processing speed, unrivalled cutting quality

The VENTIS-AJ is the biggest innovation in sheet metal cutting and introduces the next generation of fibre laser processing machines.
What makes this technology truly revolutionary is the innovative beam shaping system that allows for precise control of the laser beam motion. Utilizing AMADA’s high power, single diode module fibre laser engines, the VENTIS is available as 4 kW or 6 kW. These engines provide a very high quality laser beam, allowing the 4 kW VENTIS-AJ to perform similar to 6-8 kW machines, and the 6 kW VENTIS-AJ to perform similar to 8-10kW machines, with much less power requirements and an unrivalled cutting quality.

LBC TECHNOLOGY

LBC is an innovative system for controlling the laser beam motion. It manages beam pattern during the cutting process. The geometry of this pattern is variable for each thickness and material to be processed. The power of the beam no longer needs to be diffused to cut any materials. This guarantees very high processing speeds and a remarkable cutting quality.

SINGLE MODULE AMADA FIBRE LASER ENGINE

AMADA was the first laser machine manufacturer worldwide to develop its own fibre laser engine in-house, specifically designed for cutting. The 4 kW and 6 kW versions have no combiner, providing an industry leading laser beam quality.

DROSS FREE PROCESSING

With LBC technology that can monitor and control the laser beam pattern, it is possible to achieve an industry first: Cutting of mid-thick non-ferrous metals without dross. This has significant benefits, such as removing secondary operations and improving part flow through the factory.

ADAPTABLE KERF WIDTH CONTROL

Due to the nature of the LBC technology and the ability to change the laser beam cutting pattern, cutting kerfs greater than conventional machines can be produced. This makes it much easier to remove thick parts manually, or thin-to-medium thick parts with an automated part picking system.

HIGHER LEVELS OF MACHINE AUTONOMY

In order to improve the productivity of the VENTIS fibre laser, and to reduce operator intervention, several of AMADA’s Laser Integration System (LIS) features are being added. The i-Process Monitoring, i-Optics Sensor, automatic head collision recovery, V-Remote and updated AMNC 3i Plus control functions are all now standard equipment. As an option, the i-Nozzle Checker (including automatic beam centring) and i-CAS (which allows quick nesting of parts on remnant material through a camera vision system) can be added as a pack.

SINGLE-DIODE MODULE ENGINE:

With a single 4 kW or 6kW module engine and no combiner, the quality of the laser beam is industry leading.

BEAM CONTROL:

Innovative control of the high-density laser beam can oscillate the beam during cutting, following predefined paths for high-speed, precision processing.

DUAL SIDE DOOR ENTRY:

With 2 sliding side doors, the VENTIS series lasers allow operators to have simple access to the processing area.
