Fully electric press brake, high speed and safe bending of small and complex parts

The EG-6013AR combines a fully electric press brake with Dual Servo Power drive (DSP) for high precision and high speed, especially when processing small sized parts. The press brake is combined with a high flexible robot designed for fast, precise bending. Small-sized parts, which are sometimes hard to manually process, can be manufactured automatically, thanks to innovative combined grippers (suction and mechanical grippers). The Automatic Tool Changer and gripper changer ensure fast and accurate set up and a 24/7 production.

DEDICATED ROBOT

The dedicated robot has been specifically developed and optimised for processing small and medium sized parts and can handle parts quickly and precisely. The robot arm can fit between tool stations to work on small parts with high efficiency, making the production cycle faster and flexible. Based on the specifications of the part to bend, the robot automatically changes the tooling of the bending machine and gripper, for continuous 24/7 production.

DUAL SERVO POWER DRIVE

Dual Servo Power Drive is used in the bending process with appropriate features for each stage of the cycle, one for the beam approach and retract stage and one for the bending stage. This means greater precision in the positioning stage during bending and a quicker processing cycle, plus considerable energy saving.

MULTI-TOUCH NUMERICAL CONTROL

The EG-6013AR features latest-generation AMNC 3i numerical control. The 18.5’ large touchscreen, with its user-friendly interface, enables complete management of the cell, with a single, simple and intuitive control station for the operator.

DEDICATED SOFTWARE

Dedicated AR-CAM software can be used for offline programming, generating programmes for the bending machine and robot, and fully simulating the cycle from picking to bending and storage of the final part. This means that programming times and manual activities can be significantly reduced, maximising your productivity.

AUTOMATIC CELL SETUP

The cell can carry out set up fully automatically, preparing the tooling and gripper for scheduled production, enabling 24/7 production. The robot changes the tooling and due to a dedicated gripper can pick the tooling from the large storage and correctly position in the machine. The robot automatically changes the gripper, picking the selected gripper from the dedicated parking area.

COMBINED GRIPPER

The system has grippers specifically designed to handle small complex parts. AMADA combined gripper, available in different sizes, combines suction with a mechanical gripper.

MAXIMUM PRECISION AND REPEATABILITY:

The EG-6013AR features a number of devices and characteristics for high precision and repeatability. The AMADA-patented gauging function ensures fast positioning of the part on the back gauges, allowing absolute accuracy over the bend length. The Bi-S device is used to measure and correct the angle in real time, for a precise and accurate result.

AUTOMATIC SETUP:

The cell can carry out a quick and fully automated set up due to tool changer and gripper changer functions. This means different parts can be scheduled, without operator intervention, guaranteeing a very high level of productivity for any kind of batch size.
