The production flow initially involves assigning sheet metal attributes to 2D and 3D drawings and saving them in a database using SheetWorks.
By uploading parts to Dr ABE Tube, users can automatically create tube nesting, associate cutting attributes, generate machine codes and simulate processing.
The interface is simple and dynamic for users to make any manual changes.
The developed production plan will be saved in a database and called up by the machine using the specific bar code reader.
SHEETWORKS integrates a module specifically developed by AMADA to transfer necessary information to Dr ABE Tube for tube nesting.
Development of the 3D drawing is made easier thanks to parameter libraries and specific commands to assist in the processing of tube components.
Dr ABE Tube can be configured based on customer needs.
This feature means that tube nesting, the insertion of micro-joints, the assignment of a laser technology for the geometries to process, and the sorting of laser processing can all be done automatically.
Besides CAM programming for tube cutting, TUBE SOLUTION PACK also integrates VPSS 3i BLANK for programming flat sheet metal.
This solution has been adopted as the ENSIS-RI can switch between processing tube and flat sheet metal quickly and efficiently.
