CAD/CAM Support & Training Engineer

Software Applications Team

 

This position is permanent, full-time and based at our UK Head Office in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

This role will require the successful candidate  to complete Software training at our Head Office and installations at customer sites across the UK .

They will receive comprehensive training and development and will be interested in developing a long-term career with a highly successful, multinational company.

 

JOB PURPOSE:

 

The successful candidate will:

Provide customer software training and demonstrations

Install software solutions packages

Work with offline CAD/CAM and system control software

Analyse current customer working methods and advise on improvements

Give technical support to customers via our Customer Hotline and to colleagues

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with programming sheet metal working equipment

Previous knowledge of sheet metal design and production

Excellent communication  and presentation  skills- friendly, confident and professional

Thirst for self development

Good IT skills; Computer administration and networking knowledge

A flexible attitude to work and a willingness to stay away when working at customer sites across the UK

Strong team working skills

Good time management and attention to detail

Smart and professional appearance

An Engineering qualification to degree level or  miniumum HNC or equivalent preferable
