The heart of the machine is the fully electric punching system, developed by AMADA to ensure high performance with reduced energy consumption. Thanks to AC servo motors, the ACIES-AJe offers precise and repeatable processing, reducing energy consumption by up to 70% compared to traditional hydraulic systems and limiting maintenance interventions.
In addition to this efficiency, special attention is paid to the quality of the finished part. The turret is positioned entirely beneath the brushes, and the die is retracted between one operation and the next, avoiding direct contact with the sheet metal. In this way, the material surface remains protected from scratches and marks.

TSU TOOL CHANGER AND LASER INTEGRATION SYSTEM: MORE AUTONOMY, LESS DOWNTIME
To further increase productivity, ACIES-AJe integrates the TSU automatic tool changer system, capable of managing up to 300 punches and 600 dies. Tool change automation significantly reduces setup times and allows different jobs to be tackled without interrupting the production cycle.
The machine is also equipped with the Laser Integration System (LIS), which brings together a series of intelligent functions dedicated to monitoring the laser process. Systems such as i-Optics Sensor, i-Nozzle Checker, and i-Process Monitoring constantly monitor the machine's status, helping to maintain high processing quality and reducing the risk of unscheduled downtime.

INTUITIVE CONTROL FOR INCREASINGLY CONNECTED PRODUCTION
Governing the entire system is the AMNC 4ie numerical control, developed specifically to simplify the operator's work and improve machine management. The 21.5” HD touchscreen display, advanced facial recognition, integrated video tutorials, and connection to AMADA's IoT assistance systems make daily use simpler, more intuitive, and highly efficient.
