ACIES-AJe: the combination machine driving a new era of sheet metal processing

This need has led to the creation of ACIES-AJe, AMADA’s new combination machine. It combines electric punching, fiber laser cutting, and intelligent automation into a single solution designed to make production more flexible, continuous, and competitive.

A new generation of combination machines

Increasingly variable production runs, shorter delivery times, and a growing demand for quality: this is why combination machines are playing an increasingly strategic role in sheet metal processing.

ACIES-AJe was developed specifically to meet these demands. The integration of a 3 kW AMADA fiber laser and a 30-tonne servo-electric punching unit allows multiple operations to be concentrated within a single system, reducing material handling, setup times, and energy consumption.

The result is a production process that is simpler to manage, more efficient, and capable of adapting quickly to both small batches and mass production.

Protecting the sheet surface: a real competitive advantage

One of the key features that sets ACIES-AJe apart is its exceptional attention to surface quality.

Thanks to the turret fully integrated beneath the brush table and the active retractable dies, ACIES-AJe protects the sheet surface throughout processing, reducing the risk of scratches while minimizing rework and scrap

More autonomy, more productivity

ACIES-AJe has been designed to operate for longer with minimal operator intervention.

The automatic TSU Tool Storage Unit, the high tooling capacity, integrated tapping stations and automatic loading and unloading solutions all contribute to reducing non-productive time and ensuring continuous production.

The objective is to help manufacturers increase productivity without sacrificing the flexibility demanded by today's market.
