The VENTIS-AJe is the biggest innovation in sheet metal cutting and introduces the next generation of fibre laser processing machines.
What makes this technology truly revolutionary is the innovative beam control system that allows for precise control of the laser beam motion. Utilizing AMADA’s high power, single diode module fibre laser engines, the VENTIS-AJe is available as 4, 6 and 9 kW. These engines provide a very high quality laser beam, allowing the VENTIS-AJe to have similar performance to higher power standard lasers, with much less power requirements and an unrivalled cutting quality.

LBC TECHNOLOGY

LBC is an innovative system for controlling the laser beam motion. It manages beam pattern during the cutting process. The geometry of this pattern is variable for each thickness and material to be processed. The power of the beam no longer needs to be diffused to cut any materials. This guarantees very high processing speeds and a remarkable cutting quality.

SINGLE MODULE AMADA FIBRE LASER ENGINE

AMADA was the first laser machine manufacturer worldwide to develop its own fibre laser engine in-house, specifically designed for cutting. Each VENTIS-AJe utilises a single, high-power diode module without a combiner, providing an industry leading laser beam quality.

DROSS FREE PROCESSING

With LBC technology that can monitor and control the laser beam pattern, it is possible to achieve an industry first: Cutting of mid-thick non-ferrous metals without dross. This has significant benefits, such as removing secondary operations and improving part flow through the factory.

ADAPTABLE KERF WIDTH CONTROL

Due to the nature of the LBC technology and the ability to change the laser beam cutting pattern, cutting kerfs greater than conventional machines can be produced. This makes it much easier to remove thick parts manually, or thin-to-medium thick parts with an automated part picking system.

HIGHER LEVELS OF MACHINE AUTONOMY

In order to improve the productivity of the VENTIS-AJe fibre laser, and to reduce operator intervention, several of AMADA’s Laser Integration System (LIS) features are being added. The i-Process Monitoring, i-Optics Sensor, automatic head collision recovery, Mobile HMI and new AMNC 4ie control functions are all now standard equipment. The i-Nozzle Checker (including automatic beam centring) and i-CAS (which allows quick nesting of parts on remnant material through a camera vision system) are standard on the 6kW and 9kW versions and can be added as an option pack on the 4kW.

AMNC 4ie The new AMNC 4ie system is built to provide ease-of-use and increased productivity, with several features such as facial recognition and service tutorial videos assist less experienced operators to achieve increased productivity. Connection to AMADA's IoT sercvice and support systems also helps improve green light on time.

V-MONITOR Check the production status of multiple machines using the simple V-monitor system. Remote support can also access HD videos for quick issue diagnosis.

COMPRESSED AIR CUTTING Minimising part cost is a major focus for all manufacturers. AMADA's compressed air cutting capabilities (standard on the VENTIS-AJe) are class leading for speed and thickness.
