First Line Support Technician

A permanent, full time role has been created within the IT department at our Head Office in Kidderminster for First Line Support Technician.

 

JOB PURPOSE:

Handling and resolving internal queries or routing to appropriate colleague.

Working on interesting and varied projects across all departments in the business.

Candidates should be prepared to travel overseas occasional for short trips to provide support and training.

Full training will be provided including access to online learning resources.

Interest in developing a career with a highly successful, multinational company.

Supporting Windows server and infrastructure.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Good communication skills

Willingness to learn new skills

Prepared to travel

Technical approach

Ability to work on own initiative

Provide a high level of customer service to end users

Ability to work under pressure

 

DESIRABLE  SKILLS:

Previous experience in a support role

Interest in programming and or hardware

Coding experience

Hardware build or maintenance

Understanding of Active Directory
