AURORA

QUALITY ENSURED THROUGH AMADA TIN COATING

/

Ideal for difficult-to-cut materials

AURORA is a coated bimetal bandsaw blade designed to deliver maximum quality in the most demanding applications. Based on the proven SIGMA architecture, it incorporates a TiN coating with a hardness of HV 2300, which dramatically increases wear resistance and edge durability.
The extremely positive rake angle enhances penetration, reduces cutting resistance and improves behaviour on tough materials. The segmented cutting channel optimizes chip evacuation, keeping the blade stable even during critical cutting operations.
AURORA excels on difficult and high-strength materials, from tool steels to stainless steels, reaching performance levels that exceed the limits of traditional uncoated bimetal blades.

CUTTING CAPABILITY

High cutting capability, especially on difficult-to-cut materials. Suitable for both single-piece and bundle cutting.

CUTTING CHANNEL

Cutting channel with differential load distribution, enabled by patented tooth geometry.

RAKE ANGLE

The rake angle is extremely positive.

RUN-IN

Failure to perform a proper initial run-in can significantly affect blade life, reducing the average service life by up to approximately 30%.

Hotspots

M42 BIMETAL BLADE

Higher wear resistance compared to conventional bimetal blades.

TOOTH GEOMETRY

Variable tooth height and set produce smaller chips, reduce cutting resistance and ensure stability even on hard materials and medium-to-large diameters.

TiN COATING

Maximum bandsaw blade quality thanks to AMADA’s TiN coating.
