AXCELA HMAX

MAXIMUM DURABILITY ON HARDENED STEELS AND HARD SURFACES

/

Special geometry for materials with surface hardness up to 65 HRC

AXCELA HMAX is an uncoated carbide-tipped bandsaw blade specifically developed for cutting materials with high surface hardness, such as hardened steels, hard chrome-plated components and surface-treated parts.
The special tooth geometry with negative rake angle ensures increased cutting stability and reduces cutting edge wear, even on extremely hard and abrasive surfaces.
AXCELA HMAX delivers long tool life and smooth, quiet cutting, with excellent surface finish even in the most demanding applications.

Find the recommended bandsaw blade for your material in our Bandsaw Blade Selection Guide.

HIGH-HARDNESS MATERIALS

Ideal for surface-hardened steels, hard chrome-plated materials and applications up to approx. 65 HRC.

NEGATIVE RAKE ANGLE

Tooth geometry designed to improve stability and reduce wear on hard surfaces.

EXTENDED BLADE LIFE

High performance and increased wear resistance in demanding applications.

SMOOTH AND QUIET CUTTING

Excellent surface finish thanks to optimised tooth geometry.

Hotspots

D2 TOOTH CONFIGURATION

2-tooth geometry with precision-ground variable set, designed to ensure stability and accuracy when cutting hard materials.

CUTTING OPTIMIZATION

Geometry designed to ensure smooth cutting, reduced vibration and excellent surface finish.

NEGATIVE RAKE ANGLE

Reduces cutting aggressiveness, improving control and increasing cutting edge life on hardened surfaces.
