Dual servo, 30t electric servo punching

The EM-MIIe range features an unrivalled 30 ton dual servo electric motor punching system and AMADA’s industry leading tool turret which is available in two different configurations (Z and K versions). These features provide quicker, superior quality processing.
The optional tool identification systems and dedicated tapping units reduce setup times and allow for even more process integration for higher efficiency.

FULLY ELECTRIC PUNCHING

Saving up to 70% electrical consumption compared to typical hydraulic systems, the well-proven twin servo motor solution from AMADA gives a full 30 tons punching force allowing 'E' station (114mm / 4 1/2") slitting tools to be used, reducing overall punching time.

V-MONITOR

V-monitor assists in quick solutions to processing issues by capturing HD videos for remote diagnosis. It also allows users to check the status of multiple machines with a single interface.

V-CUT COMPATIBILITY

Using the special V-Cut tooling, parts can be processed on the EM-MIIe that allow sharp internal profiles and much flatter hemming bends to be achieved on the bending machines.

INTEGRATED TAPPING

In-cycle tapping operations are achieved by the provision of 4 dedicated tapping stations in the EM-MIIe thick turret. M2.5 to M8 taps can be processed using the special tools available from AMADA. When not required for tapping tasks, these 4 stations can accommodate standard 'B' station tools for increased punching capacity.

THE ORIGINAL BRIDGE FRAME

Pioneered by AMADA in the 1970's, the bridge frame has become the recognised standard for punching machines. Deflection is controlled laterally and vertically to potentailly extend tool life.

AMNC 4ie

The skilled worker shortage is a challenge for all manufacturers. AMADA's AMNC 4ie control system provides several solutions, such as preventative maintenance video tutorials, facial recognition and connection to AMADA's class leading IoT support systems, to assist new or less skilled operators to get the best from the machine.

VERSATILE TURRET: The Z turret uses different diameter upper and lower disks, allowing dies to the quickly and easily changed. The K turret accommodates a large range of tools, reducing the number of tool changes required.
AMADA RAPID FORMING TOOL COMPATIBILITY Complex forming operations such as offset joggles, chamfers and beading can be achieved in-cycle utilising the AMADA Rapid Forming Tool solutions.
AIR BLOW SYSTEM The programmable Air Blow function on the EM-MIIe allows for self lubrication of the punching tools to give the benefits of prolonged tool life and increased punching efficiency.
