An opportunity to work for the largest Service and Sales support network within the UK Sheet Metal Industry.

These are new, permanent, full time roles working within the Service Department.

Flexibility on working hours and travel will be required and a strong understanding of Customer service and high standards of values.

Areas: 

1 x Leeds / Manchester / Sheffield triangle.

 

JOB PURPOSE:

 Regular routine service of machines and associated equipment
Progression within Department towards diagnose and rectify machine problems and breakdowns
 Progression within Department towards training customer in operation,
maintenance, and safety aspects.
Progression within Department towards machine installation and factory moves.
Promote part sales and sales of maintenance contracts. 

 Promote sales of machine tools and associated AMADA equipment

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

 A suitable engineering qualification – HNC/HND/Apprenticeship or higher.
 Previous field experience in laser machinery would be an advantage or an
apprentice trained engineer with at least one year’s practical experience in an
engineering-based role
 Basic electrical / electronic / hydraulic experience including fault finding skills and
schematic/drawing understanding.
 Strong electrical experience including fault finding skills, schematic understanding
 PLC and mechanical experience
 Fanuc experience an advantage
 Enthusiastic and self motivated
Smart and professional presentation
 Ability to work alone and under pressure
 Flexible approach to working hours and travel
 Ability to communicate in all situations at all levels of an organisation
A full clean UK driving license (3 points will be considered)
