The EM-MII range features an unrivalled 30 ton dual servo electric motor punching system and AMADA’s industry leading tool turret which is available in two different configurations (Z and K versions). These features provide quicker, superior quality processing.
The optional tool identification systems and dedicated tapping units reduce setup times and allow for even more process integration for higher efficiency.

TOOL IDENTIFICATION

Digital tool management (AITS) based on Barcode 2D technology prevents any installation errors. Punch identification also means punches can be kept in optimal conditions and processing quality can be improved.

VERSATILE TURRET

Machine setup times are reduced, with quick, simple die replacement, thanks to the upper and lower turrets having different diameters (Z version).

DEDICATED TAPPING UNITS

The optional 44 station turret features dedicated units for tapping. This technology allows for the tapping process to be fully automated and included in the blanking phase, for shorter processing times.

WORK AREA

The 3612 version of the EM-MII can process sheet metal measuring 3050 x 1525 without the need for repositioning. This significantly reduces processing times and increases efficiency.

ENERGY SAVING

The machine is fully electric, with an average power consumption of 4.5 kW, guaranteeing low energy consumption. Moreover, no additional cooling system is necessary, unlike hydraulically driven punching machines.

V-CUT TECHNOLOGY

By cutting a V groove on the inside of the part with a special tool, bends can be created with a much reduced external radius, for easier bending. V-Cut is just one of the special processes that the EM-MII can carry out.

QUICK SETUP:

The high capacity turret reduces machine tooling requirements. The Z type turret has been designed for the quick replacement of punches and dies.

ID TOOLING:

AMADA ID Tooling System (AITS) prevents errors during tool set up, and helps monitor and optimise tool life, so the quality of processed parts is not affected.

EXTENDED WORK AREA:

The machine structure (in 3612 versions) enables sheet metal measuring 3050 x 1525 mm to be processed, without the need for repositioning.
