Established in 1946 in Japan by Isamu Amada, the Group now has some 90 companies including sales branches, production sites and employs over 8,000 people worldwide.
AMADA offers a fully-comprehensive range of solutions for sheet metal processing, and to meet the ever changing needs of the market and its customers, the Group has set up a network of production sites in strategic areas: Japan, Europe, North America and China.
Operating for more than 40 years in Europe, the AMADA Group combines tradition, Japanese experience and the best European know-how. A commitment the Group enforced, establishing the European headquarters functions in 2013.
The centralisation of European functions has made it possible to establish a focal point for the Group's European strategies, consolidating synergies among branches and providing targeted, innovative solutions to all our customers. Combining all activities, the AMADA Group, operates in Europe with 10 branches in 13 countries and 8 production sites, employing 1,500 people serving approximately 30,000 customers.
More than just a manufacturer of machine tools, AMADA proposes innovative solutions to boost the technological edge of its customers.
In fact, we promote an integrated concept of our work, offering bespoke solutions. This goal is shared within the Group, devising and creating together customised responses for each individual customer’s requirement.
In compliance with the latest and even more restrictive Government’s provisions, implemented to counter and contain the spread of Covid-19, we have suspended all of our activities involving public attendance. The usual communication channels remain operative, as indicated in the press release.
