TCB PT II

PRECISION AND STABILITY IN CUTTING STEEL TUBES

/

Blade designed for tubes and profiles to reduce vibration and material deformation

TCB PT II is a cermet-tipped circular blade developed specifically for cutting carbon steel tubes and profiles.
The tooth geometry and blade structure are optimised to reduce vibration and material deformation, ensuring stable cutting even on thin to medium wall thicknesses.
With high resistance to chipping and an improved brazing process, TCB PT II ensures long tool life and consistent cut quality, even under demanding operating conditions.
It is ideal for automated lines and applications where continuous production and reliability are required.

SPECIFIC FOR TUBES AND PROFILES

Optimised for non-solid materials, reducing the risk of deformation.

HIGH CHIPPING RESISTANCE

Cermet teeth designed for interrupted cutting.

STABLE CUTTING ON THIN SECTIONS

Minimises vibration and improves cut quality.

LONG TOOL LIFE UNDER SEVERE CONDITIONS

High performance even in demanding applications.

Hotspots

OPTIMISED GEOMETRY FOR TUBES

Profile designed for gradual entry into the material and reduced impact.

STABILISED BLADE STRUCTURE

Increased rigidity to maintain cutting accuracy and straightness.

HIGH-TOUGHNESS CERMET TEETH

Superior resistance to breakage in interrupted cuts.

Technical Data

Dedicated configurations for tubes and profiles

TCB PT II is available in various combinations of diameter, thickness and tooth count (Z), specifically designed for cutting tubes with different diameters and wall thicknesses.
Selecting the correct tooth count is essential to ensure stability, cut quality and tool life.
For large tubes or thick sections, AMADA technical support is recommended.
