In today’s manufacturing environment, welding represents a critical stage for both final product quality and overall process efficiency. In this context, intelligent and automated solutions make it possible to reduce set-up times, improve repeatability, and manage increasingly complex applications.

BEAM CONTROL FOR MORE VERSATILE WELDING
At the core of the FLW-ENSISe system is ENSIS technology (Variable Beam Control), which enables the laser beam to be adjusted according to application requirements. Available in 3 kW and 6 kW versions, it adapts the process to different materials, thicknesses, and geometries, ensuring greater operational versatility.
In addition to power adjustment, ENSIS technology allows the laser beam shape to be modified, shifting from a concentrated configuration for deep penetration to a wider and more uniform distribution, ideal for applications requiring greater weld pool stability. This capability results in more consistent quality and enables different applications to be managed with a single solution, reducing the need for dedicated configurations.

REDUCED SET-UP TIMES AND GREATER OPERATIONAL AUTONOMY
One of the key advantages of the FLW-ENSISe M5 is the significant reduction in preparation times. The integration of the AI-TAS function (Teaching Assist System), supported by a coaxial camera, automatically detects the welding position and corrects robot alignment in real time, simplifying operations and reducing dependency on manual intervention. This is complemented by solutions such as the automatic Push-Pull filler wire system and automatic focal point adjustment, which allow the process to adapt to different operating conditions. The filler wire is activated automatically when required, contributing to a more continuous and efficient workflow

WELDING QUALITY AND MANAGEMENT OF COMPLEX APPLICATIONS
FLW-ENSISe M5 is designed to handle a wide range of applications, even under challenging conditions such as large gaps between components or complex geometries. The combination of beam control, automatic filler wire management, and focal adjustment enables deep, uniform, and repeatable welds. Gap management is particularly effective: in many applications, operations can be performed without filler wire, while in more complex cases the system automatically activates the wire through the Push-Pull function. This approach helps maintain high joint quality while minimizing manual adjustments.

M5 CONFIGURATION: PRODUCTIVITY AND CONTINUOUS OPERATION
The M5 configuration, featuring a rail-mounted robot and automatic table changer, is designed to ensure continuous production and optimize cycle times. The ability to prepare one part while another is being processed reduces downtime and increases overall system productivity.

DIGITAL INTEGRATION AND ADVANCED CONTROL
The system is completed by the AMNC 4ie numerical control, which provides an intuitive interface and advanced management andmonitoring tools, with the possibility to customize the operator experience. Integration with the AMADA digital ecosystem allows the machine to be incorporated into a connected production flow, improving process control and enabling more efficient management of the entire production cycle. The system can automatically manage parameters and adjustments, reducing operator intervention and ensuring operational continuity.
