Thin to thick processing with a single lens

Available with 3-15kW fibre laser engines developed by AMADA, the ENSIS-AJe range considerably increases your production capacity.  All versions except 3kW utilise AMADA’s Auto Collimation system, for unrivalled laser beam spot control. Combined with AMADA's original Variable Beam Control technology to adjust the laser mode, this system can process different materials and thicknesses with a single cutting lens. The quality and processing speeds for medium to thick materials, as well as very high-speed piercing, make the ENSIS-AJe the perfect machine to increase your profitability.

ENSIS TECHNOLOGY

ENSIS technology is based on the Variable Beam Control Unit which can fully control and modulate the laser beam. The ENSIS-AJe not only controls the beam diameter and focal point, it changes the beam mode depending on the material and thickness to be processed. Now utilizing 3 to 15kW AMADA fibre laser engines, the correct power requirement can be determined on an individual basis with our customers.

LASER INTEGRATION SYSTEM

AMADA’s LIS (Laser Integration System) features offer higher levels of autonomy and therefore higher uptime on the laser. As standard, the ENSIS-AJe series lasers now come equipped with improved cut and pierce monitoring systems, protection glass monitoring, remote iPad connection, high speed intelligent head control and automatic head collision recovery. These can be enhanced with the addition of the ‘Option Pack’ which consists of a camera based nozzle inspection / automatic beam centring system and a drag & cut material remnant camera for simple part nesting on the machine NC.

WATER-COOLED CUTTING

The machine is equipped with WACS II (Water Assisted Cutting System) to maintain a constant temperature of the raw material to process, guaranteeing stable cutting of thicker mild steel. It also allows thin wall thicknesses to be processed, increasing sheet utilisation and lowering cost-per-part.

HIGH SPEED PIERCE

Thanks to its ability to change the beam mode between piercing and cutting, the ENSIS-AJe has very quick pierce rates on medium to thick material. The  high power versions can pierce 25mm mild steel in 1 second.

CLEAN FAST CUT

Clean Fast Cut is a new technology from AMADA which optimises assist gas usage and increases cutting speed, in some cases by nearly twice the speed. This ensures lower cost-per-part and higher productivity.

FIBER SILKY CUT

AMADA's Fiber Silky Cut technology is a revolutionary innovation in fibre laser cutting. This function modulates the beam and gas flow to achieve a high cutting performance for medium thickness stainless steel, which is comparable to CO₂ laser cutting for roughness and edge quality.

AMNC 4ie

Ease-of-use was one of the main priorities in the development of the AMNC 4ie control system. Assisting operators of all skill levels is one way of increasing productivity and profitability. Tutorial videos and assistance from AMADA's IoT support systems further enhances operations.

V-MONITOR

Quick and simple production confirmation of multiple machines is possible with V-monitor. HD video capture also allows rapid solutions to production issues.

COMPRESSED AIR CUTTING

To keep part cost to a minimum, AMADA fibre lasers allow you to process many materials with the standard compressed air cutting system, giving high quality results. Assist gas costs are therefore only the associated compressor running costs.
